PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS
When you arrive: upon arrival, the customer will find a representative of the rent a car with a legible card with his name, accompanied him to a free Shuttle service parked outside the PDL Airport, driving to the offices less than 5 minutes away.ADDITIONAL DRIVER POLICY

Insurance
1. The customer can hire the following services:
• Super CDW – Includes Civil Liability Insurance and covers all damage caused to the vehicle and total or partial theft of the same, the customer not being subject to the payment of any deductible or being subject to the payment of a reduced deductible;
• CDW – Includes Civil Liability Insurance and covers all damage caused to the vehicle in the event of an accident, with the customer subject to payment of a variable deductible depending on the type of vehicle and set out in the table attached to the contract, which is an integral part the same;
• TP – Covers theft and/or theft of the vehicle;
• Pack ULTIMATE, which includes all previous insurance, with full waiver of excess and deposit.
• PAI – Covers Personal Accidents of the driver, whose maximum amounts are € 1,000 (one thousand) euros in the case of illness or hospitalization and € 10,000 (ten thousand) euros in the case of death or disability.
2. The customer undertakes, in the event of an accident, to follow the following procedures, except in duly justified cases of force majeure:
• Report to the rental company and the police authorities any and all accidents, theft, theft or any other claims, within a maximum period of 12 hours;
• Obtain the names and addresses of the persons involved and witnesses;
• Do not leave the vehicle without taking appropriate measures to protect and safeguard it;
• Not to assume any responsibility or plead guilty in case of accidents, which may imply liability of the rental company;
• Immediately contact the rental company (+351925520 350) providing them with a detailed accident report including the accident report drawn up by the police authorities and the Friendly Car Accident Declaration.
3. Only the customer and/or authorized drivers can benefit from Super CDW, CDW and PAI coverage.
4. Even if the customer subscribes to Super CDW coverage, all damages arising from misuse of the vehicle are his sole responsibility.
5. In the event of an accident due to excessive speed, negligence, driving under the influence of alcohol, narcotic products or the consumption of any product that impairs driving ability, the customer will be responsible for all repair and compensation costs corresponding to the downtime of the vehicle. accident vehicle, even if Super CDW and/or CDW coverage has been contracted.
6. Forms of payment
• The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard.
• American Express, Diners Club and UnionPay are NOT accepted.
• Debit cards are accepted as a method of payment but cannot be used for deposit pre-authorization.
• Cash is accepted as a secondary payment method (meaning you must also provide an accepted payment card for deposit authorization).

Vehicle refueling.
• Full to Full. All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to the rental company, otherwise the current prices per litre of petrol or diesel will be charged in addition to a refuelling fee. If desired, the vehicle will be refuled according to currently available conditions after returning it to the station.
• Full to Empty. Alternatively, you may purchase a tankful of fuel at the time of rental at a price that is competitive with local fuel stations and return the tank empty. In this option the company will refund the unused fuel.RENTER QUALIFICATIONS
Renters must be over 18 years old - with a minimum of 1 year of experience – and have a valid drivers license, a photo ID, and a credit card in their name in order to qualify at the counter.

Age Requirements at AZORES
• Minimum rental age is 18 years for vehicle groups Mini.
• A young drivers fee for drivers aged 18 to 23 years is applicable only on vehicle groups Mini.
• Minimum rental age is 24 for vehicle groups Mini Elite, Economy, Compact SUV, Compact Wagon, Compact Elite, Intermediate Van, Standard Van, Compact SUV, Compact Wagon,

• The following rules and restrictions are provided by the car rental company.
• The driver must present a valid driver's license and credit card in their name upon pick-up. The credit card could be required as a deposit when renting a vehicle. The deposit amount is held by the car rental company. Please ensure sufficient funds are available on the card.

• Additional charges or restrictions may apply for drivers under 24.
• Charges for refueling, additional drivers, etc., are not included in the total price.
• Special equipment, such as child seats and GPS, can be purchased upon pick-up (if available).
• Geographical restrictions may apply, even for rental contracts that feature unlimited mileage.
• It is not authorized to go with the vehicle to another island, different from the one where you started renting your vehicle.
• Your rental may have mandatory, local insurance requirements that result in additional charges at the time of hiring.
• The total price includes all mandatory taxes and fees.
• Rental fees are due at pick-up.
• Unless and otherwise specified, rates are quoted in Euros.

• After Hours Service is not charged, even in the event of a late plane delay.
• Base rate includes VAT tax (16%).
• 100% refund if you cancel up to 48 hours before pick-up.
• There will be no refund in case of cancellations made after that or no-shows.
• Non-prepaid customers will receive a grace period of 4-hours after their scheduled pick-up time to receive the vehicle. After the 4-hour grace period, non-prepaid reservations will be subject to availability. Please call the location directly for any flight delays or same-day changes in pick-up time.
• The total price includes all mandatory taxes and fees.
Special rates
• Additional Drivers will be charged 25 EUR per rent.
• The use of a baby booster seat (3 euros per day) or a child seat (5 euros per day), for all passengers under 12 years of age and height of less than 135 cm, is mandatory.
• Portable GPS 9.90 euros per day.
• Wi-Fi Router 9.90 euros per day.
